A List

Photo from HERE.

With everything that's going on in my life right now (everything meaning residency), the only things that I can do online, on a regular basis, are check e-mails and update my status in Facebook. I know, I know, it's a no brainer but it's a nice break when what you do all day is think, think and think.

In relation to that, FB inspired me to make lists. Lists are fun, easy to do, easy to read. So for this edition of The Blog Rounds, which Gaya is hosting, I am making a list. A list of ME. The order is random.
  1. Filipino and a closet activist.
  2. Believer.
  3. Physician. I know I was born to be one.
  4. Bookworm. Some of my favorites are The Alchemist, Velveteen Rabbit, Love Story, The Lord of the Rings, Tuesdays with Morrie. I've written about this too.
  5. Family Man. I'd do anything for my family. That's why you will find posts about them here and here.
  6. Movie addict. As attested by my skewed priorities, this and this. At some point, the following became my favorites: Dying Young and Rocket Gibraltar.
  7. Traveller. I am energized by seeing new places, meeting people and knowing different cultures.
  8. Cabalen. That's why I love food and eat frogs, crickets, among other things. It's in my blood.
  9. Crazy in Love with Chuy. I haven't written enough about him because one blog is not enough. Cheezy ;)
  10. Dreamer. There are still a lot of things that I'd want to do before I turn 50. Like teach or do underwater photography and be a wife and a mom in between.
By the way, I would love it if you add me up in FB. Hehe :) Pardon my craziness, I'm post duty.

Concise yet insightful!
Could've been my list 15 years ago, except that I would change Cabalen to Kabsat. And yes, kabsats (Ilokano for sibling) eat frogs too, but beetles instead of crickets. And a host of other slippery slimy things.

Thanks for reading Em Dy.

MegaMom, oh yeah, it was in Ilocos where I go to taste tadpoles. But it ate only 1 tiny tadpole because I didn't like the color. Hehe :))

I didn't know you went into family medicine until I read this. I think it's the perfect choice for a former Doctor-to-the-Barrios.
I would say that everything one needs to know about you is right there in that list--a complete opposite in length of my entry.
(maybe radiology residents have more down time than family medicine residents? hehehehe...)
Have a Blessed Easter, in advance!

I love lists too... Hehe, it's kind of why I came up with that topic...so your contribution was perfect.
